Today the appeleon version 2.4.01 GA has been released and is now available for new installations and updates.

Information messages are now shown at the bottom of the display instead of being displayed as a pop up window. As a result no user action is required any more.

The platform’s support for tools used by visually impaired people has been improved. This facilitates free access and enables the usage of the platform by more people.

Mobile optimization
The display on mobile devices like tablets has been improved. The automatic detection of the used device type ensures optimal rendering.

Thanks to a new API it is easier for partners and clients to develop extensions for the platform enabling them to individualise their usage.

Display of operations enhanced
The content of the context menu can now be limited to be displayed on the selected tab only instead of being shown on all tabs.
During the creation of button operations they can be configured to appear on multiple tabs, which significantly reduces the configuration effort.

Display object environment as a chart
An object and its relations to other objects can now be displayed as a chart. I.e. if a process is selected, the view enables users to see the related previous and following process stages in the chart.

Display objects as a Gantt chart
The functionality to display objects of an application as a Gantt chart in form of bars on a time scale has already been available as extension. The new version introduces this functionality as a generic feature.
