Today the appeleon version 2.3.07 GA has been released and so is now available for new installations and updates.

The following new additions expand the appeleon-functionality:

  • Automated object update about relations
  • The automatic update of data objects, which are connected by relations with the currently modified data object has been optimized.
  • Preload of frequently used data
  • Frequently accessed data can now be loaded before the first access, which improves the performance of the initial access.
     
  • Login screen when directly login into an application
  • Application-specific information will be displayed with the direct-login function in an application.
     
• Innovations on object level
  • Retractable areas in the object mask
    Retractable areas can be defined in masks which comprises a group of fields.
     
  • Mandatory relations between objects
    Mandatory relations can be now retrieved when saving the data object.
     
  • Generic data import
    The generic data import (e.g. Excel files) has been further optimized.
     
  • REST-interface
    Using the REST-interface associated object data can be read as a table.
     
  • Report Engine
    It is now possible to create definable (Birt-) reports to output object data as PDF, Excel or Word.
     
  • Excel download of table content
    It is now possible to export cross tab contents and multiple tabs to Excel.

  • Cross tabs:
    • Rows can now be grouped.
    • Rows can now be summarized in retractable areas.
    • Row values can now be aggregated and the results can be validated.
    • Cells can now be formatted.
    • In row headers the background colour can now vary and a tooltip will be displayed.

    In the selection fields it is now possible to select multiple values in the combo boxes.
